Nitriding is a heat treatment method that strengthens the metal by forming a protective layer on its surface supplemented with nitrogen. After nitriding, metal parts become more durable, resistant to the effects of use and stronger.
Products are nitrided with gas. The most common gas used in this process is ammonia, a nitrogen-rich gas. It reacts with the heated surface to form a reinforcing nitride layer. This process can be precisely controlled so that the resulting layer can be exactly what is needed.
The nitriding furnace measures 600 mm in diameter and 2500-2700 mm in depth.
